Aspire2 Student Graduates in the UK Congratulations to our graduate Luisa Giraldo Gallón, our student from Colombia, who flew over to the UK in February to attend her University of North Hampton (UoN) Graduation. Aspire2 International’s partnership with the UoN offers our Business and Management students a top up of their two years’ of study to a full BA (Hons) degree. Cookery Students Volunteer at Everybody Eats Our cookery students volunteered at the Everybody Eats charity pop-up restaurant at Gemmayze Street Restaurant in Auckland last week. Live cooking for 300+ customers certainly puts our students under pressure and gives them invaluable real-life work experience. In fact they did such a good job they not only walked away feeling great just being a part of this charity event, but two of our students were offered jobs! Hilton Hotel Barista Cup Winner Congratulations to our Level 6 Hospitality student, Sofya Lapina, who placed third in the Hilton Hotel Barista Cup competition at the Hilton Australasia Food & Beverage Masters last week. Sofya won the New Zealand Hilton Hotel Barista Competition in Auckland in 2018 and was flown across to Sydney last week to compete in the next stage, the Australasia Hilton Hotel Barista Cup. Lunar New Year on Campus Happy New Year to all of our International students and staff. At Aspire2 International our campuses are home to students and staff from all over the world. We welcome, respect and celebrate this diversity.
