Hilton Hotel Barista Cup Winner
Congratulations to our Level 6 Hospitality student, Sofya Lapina, who placed third in the Hilton Hotel Barista Cup competition at the Hilton Australasia Food & Beverage Masters last week.
Sofya won the New Zealand Hilton Hotel Barista Competition in Auckland in 2018 and was flown across to Sydney last week to compete in the next stage, the Australasia Hilton Hotel Barista Cup.
New Zealanders love great coffee and our students know how to make it! Sofya took the Aspire2 Barista Essentials Short Course (with NZQA Credit) which combines theory and practice, and helped her get her job as a barista at the Hilton Hotel.
